Healthy.io’s regulated clinical platform runs across more than 60 cloud projects and multiple environments. At this scale, delivery pipelines, security posture, domain management, and infrastructure require continuous attention, while large-scale changes must be executed without disrupting live services.

About Healthy.io

Healthy.io transforms smartphone cameras into clinical-grade medical devices. Using computer vision and AI, its platform enables patients to perform diagnostic tests from home for kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and wound care monitoring. FDA-cleared and CE-marked, the company serves health systems and insurers across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

Industry: Digital health and medical technology

Healthy.io’s regulated clinical platform runs across more than 60 cloud projects and multiple environments. At this scale, delivery pipelines, security posture, domain management, and infrastructure require continuous attention, while large-scale changes must be executed without disrupting live services.

The challenge

Healthy.io operates a large, distributed multi-cloud environment across Google Cloud and AWS. Its scale and complexity created ongoing operational demands, including remediating security findings, maintaining delivery pipelines, and supporting development teams working with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

At the same time, Healthy.io was preparing for a major infrastructure migration. The Wound application needed to move to a new organizational structure, including its Terraform-managed infrastructure, containerized workloads, domain configuration, delivery pipelines, and front-end deployments.

The solution

CloudZone embedded a senior DevOps engineer directly into Healthy.io’s team, providing hands-on expertise across Google Cloud and AWS.

As part of the ongoing operation, CloudZone maintained Helm chart deployments, Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines, Cloud Run functions, base images, and certificates. The team also managed Healthy.io’s Cloudflare environment end-to-end, including WAF, DNS, SSL, WARP, and user access.

CloudZone continuously monitored the company’s security posture through Wiz and remediated critical and high-severity findings across more than 60 Google Cloud projects and multiple AWS accounts.

In parallel, CloudZone led the complete migration of the Wound application. The project included:

  • Building the infrastructure for a new Google Cloud organization using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Migrating and maintaining Helm charts
  • Establishing a GitHub organization containing more than 40 repositories
  • Migrating the complete Cloudflare domain stack
  • Completing the Docker Artifact Registry migration
  • Rebuilding and validating more than 50 Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines
  • Deploying fully operational DR and PT environments
  • Publishing new web properties through Firebase, with complete pipeline, DNS, and SSL coverage

The results

  • Continuous security monitoring across more than 60 Google Cloud projects and multiple AWS accounts, with critical and high-severity findings remediated through Wiz
  • Full migration of the Wound application, including more than 40 repositories, over 50 delivery pipelines, and a complete domain stack covering WAF, DNS, and SSL
  • Full infrastructure-as-code coverage for the migrated environment using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Stable delivery pipelines across Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Fully deployed and operational DR and PT environments
  • New web properties published through Firebase with complete pipeline, DNS, and SSL coverage
