LSports is a world-leading provider of real-time sports data, offering advanced solutions to sportsbooks and betting operators. Focused on innovation, automation, and AI-driven insights, LSports empowers its customers to differentiate themselves through reliable, customized data feeds. Headquartered in Israel, LSports continuously invests in cutting-edge technologies to help clients enhance their offerings and maintain a competitive advantage in the global betting market.
In 2024, LSports set out to migrate its core workloads from Amazon Web Services to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The move was driven by the need for greater scalability, improved performance, enhanced security, and the ability to leverage advanced cloud-native technologies such as real-time analytics and machine learning. A key requirement was that the migration be executed seamlessly, with zero disruption to LSports’ live services, while introducing automation for future scalability.
CloudZone, a certified Google Cloud Partner, partnered with LSports to lead the migration and modernization effort. Working closely with Google Account Managers and LSports’ engineering team, CloudZone implemented a fully automated infrastructure using Terraform. Secure networking was established with robust identity and access management policies, while cloud-native monitoring tools were integrated to provide real-time visibility. As part of the DevOps transformation, CloudZone enhanced CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and reduce release times. The approach included lifting and shifting virtual machines, databases, and data storage to GCP, all while maintaining service continuity.
The migration delivered significant results. LSports improved deployment speeds by 40–70%, depending on the service, thanks to automation and CI/CD enhancements. Security was strengthened through strict access controls and real-time monitoring. Operational costs were reduced by 30% through the use of efficient GCP infrastructure. Most importantly, the migration was completed with zero downtime, ensuring that critical services remained fully available throughout the transition.
LSports’ move to Google Cloud, powered by CloudZone’s expertise, has transformed its operational backbone. The company now operates on a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that supports future growth and real-time data needs. As the company continues to expand its offering, LSports plans to further leverage Google Cloud’s AI and analytics capabilities to drive new innovation across the betting industry.
