AuthTeam SaaS Optimization and Marketplace Onboarding

About AuthTeam

AuthTeam is a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) management platform that allows organizations to secure their OTP and 2FA codes in one secure place. Their key goal is to protect the sensitive information of their customers and employees. AuthTeam’s solution is essential for businesses that handle financial transactions, healthcare data, or other types of confidential information. AuthTeam’s secure solution protects company networks and systems against unauthorized access.

The Challenge

AuthTeam’s existing architecture lacked resiliency and could not handle high-traffic demands. A single-tenant solution made it difficult to maintain and deploy the application. Also, the application’s egress layer was not scalable enough to handle the increasing number of users.

In addition, AuthTeam had to overcome challenges when expanding into new regions and industries.

The Solution

To improve the application’s resiliency, AuthTeam decided to create a multi-AZ architecture for the application database and egress layer. This would ensure that the application would still be available to the users even if one zone goes down. Additionally, deployment and maintenance automation was implemented based on Terraform, which helped manage the Infrastructure as Code and ensured the application could be easily deployed and maintained.

CloudZone assisted Authteam in optimizing its SaaS solution and listing it on the AWS Marketplace, allowing it to reach new markets and grow the business in a scalable manner.

The results

Listing Authteam’s solution on the AWS Marketplace expanded the company’s reach into new markets and lowered customers’ upfront costs.

Implementing the multi-AZ architecture and deployment automation based on Terraform resulted in a highly resilient application that could handle high traffic demands. The egress layer was also scaled to meet the increasing number of users. The application’s maintenance and deployment became much easier as the infrastructure was managed as code. Overall, the project was a success, and AuthTeam provided a better experience for its users.
