Solutions Architect

Job Description:

Deliver technical consulting/hands-on to clients for cloud infrastructure, automation solutions, and cloud architecture.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure engineering including at least two years’ supporting cloud-based infrastructure
• An in-depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models
• Architecting public cloud solutions
• Conducting Cloud Readiness Assessments observing business and technical perspectives
• Evaluating clients existing data center and digital strategies
• Performing cloud service maps, TCO analysis, and security

Responsibilities:

• Be a part of the project delivery team and focus on ensuring delivery according to architecture design
• Understand the client’s project aims and to offer professional and commercial insight to ensure client satisfaction.
• Act as a technical project leader on Public Clouds and related technologies for the project delivery team.
• Provide cloud architecture solutions while defining tasks, the scope of work and estimate required work effort from client requirements.
• Write high level/low-level design documents and other technical project-related documents.
• Perform Public cloud sizing and provide proper workload cost estimation based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need

• A fast learner and comfortable working in high-pressure environments
• Assist sales and pre-sales teams in providing cost-effective solutions

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or GCP Professional data engineer or Microsoft Azure Architect Design

• VMware certificates (advantage)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (advantage)
• 5+ years’ of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
